The Pleasure Park 2

Nothing better than a day off work especially when the sun is shining and you can spend the day with the woman you love. The fact she has twelve year olds twins that need to be entertained  takes a little of the gloss of it but Jenny was so beautiful, so lovely, that Mark was willing to take the rough with the smooth.

A day at a pleasure park was going to be great fun, the kids were older than his own so were more up for the scary rides so Mark could get an adrenalin rush but he could also put the kids on the younger rides and take the opportunity to have a bit of a kiss and a cuddle with Jenny. 

It was just after one such smooch that Mark saw him, the unmistakable figure of his youngest boy running towards him, a huge smile on his dirty face.

‘What the fuck?’ Mark mumbled under his breath.

‘What?’ said Jenny following Mark’s eye line and seeing the little boy approaching them.

‘It’s my boy.’ said Mark, ‘ what’s he doing here?’

A realisation came over both of them and both said

‘That must mean Holly's here too?’

 Jenny knew all about Mark’s other life, she didn’t like it but she put up with it because Mark was so good with her boys and so lovely to her.

‘I’d better go.’ Mark took three or four steps away from his lover and bent down to pick up his son.

‘Where’s mummy.’ Jenny heard Mark say as tears welled in her eyes and Mark moved away from view.

Mark had to think quickly, he knew Holly would be beside herself with worry looking for her little angel, but what would he tell her when he found her. He thought about phoning her but that would mean telling her he was in the park when she thought he was in work. His best option was to spot Holly before she saw him and send Luke off towards her before blending into the crowd, hoping not to be noticed and that Luke wouldn’t tell tales.

After a few minutes of looking Mark saw his wife rushing towards him, relief replacing stress on her face. Damn thought Mark, he just had to brave it out.

‘Hi, I thought I’d come down and join in the fun.’ It didn’t matter what he said, she was fussing Luke and not listening to him. Had he got away with it? It looked like he had.
